My goals for this trip are to see los glaciares national park (Cerro Torre and Fitzroy) in Argentina and Torres del Paine in Chile. We are considering a stop on the way back in a more tropical location.
Over all, a 3 week trip is what I think we are able to do, that could mean spending the whole time in Patagonia or just 2 weeks, we'll have to see how this all pans out and what everyone's goals are.

Torres del Paine National Park looks beautiful. I want to look at distances between parks / areas to figure if travel is reasonable. I don't mind travel days as long as there are not to many.

same, I dont want many travel days either and the first thing we need to figure out is where are we going and how long to get to each destination

Patagonia could be a lot of fun too, we will be driving through some beautiful country.......
looks like 350mi or so between parks, so 2 day drive, 3 with a stop on the south side of Glacier NP in El Calafate
